Kayla had her first Halloween party this weekend. We had 9 kids over at our house for a couple hours of chaos. The party was a success as the house is still in one piece, all the kids got along pretty well, and we had no major incidents or casualties :) I'm sure all the parents had a great time after leaving with their kids all loaded up on sugar. Kayla was an orange and black witch for the party. We also had a spider, a spider queen, a monkey, a couple of Sleeping Beauties, a lobster, Dorothy (Wiz of Oz), and an army girl.
The centerpiece of the goodies at the party was a magnificent castle cake that Lynda spent most of the day Friday preparing. It tasted as good as it looked.
